An Open Letter To Gun-Grabbing Senator Dianne Feinstein

 http://www.westernjournalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Dianne-Feinstein-SC.jpg
Senator Feinstein,
I have been to your website and read that once again you are seeking a ban on certain kinds of semi automatic weapons, high capacity magazines, and pistol grips on said rifles. Before their were semiautomatic rifles that looked like military firearms, there were revolvers, shotguns, hunting rifles knives, hatchets, bows and arrows, tomahawks, lances, crossbows, hammers, maces, axes, blowguns, and even real machine guns. My question then, is why are you constantly picking on rifles or hand guns that can only fire as fast as you can pull the trigger? It doesn’t matter whether the magazine can hold 5 shots or a hundred if the bonehead firing the weapon is intent on killing fellow human beings. Besides, if another citizen is armed in proximity to the shooter, that person, if well trained, can put a stop to that murderous action long before law enforcement gets to the scene.
Why are you so hellbent on taking guns away from law abiding people? Did someone shoot your pet cat when you were very young? Our illustrious President seems just as determined as you are to turn our Second Amendment rights over to the United Nations so that they can do the dirty work for you Progressives. Is this desire to control every aspect of other people’s lives something that you are born with, bred into you, or do you learn it in our fine public educational institutions? Murder has been around as long as man has existed. Somehow or someway, a person bent on killing will find a way to do it; and nothing short of incarcerating that person on suspicion of wanting to commit murder will stop such things from happening. However, if you were to ENCOURAGE citizens ( both men and women) to get proper firearms training and practice to become proficient with that weapon(s), then you would probably stop a lot of murderous action before it got very far. A well armed citizenry will provide added safety and protection for their fellow citizens, whereas a disarmed citizenry provides nothing but targets, Senator.
This country has not been invaded since the war of 1812; and I, along with millions of others believe that it is partially due to the fact that Americans are so well armed. We pose a formidable deterrent to those who would try to take this country by force; so what are you Progressives REALLY afraid of, Senator Feinstein? Is it that you think an unarmed America would be more “pliable” or submissive to your rule? I find that thinking quite disturbing. The war on terror has been shown to be alive and well even in our own country, and Hurricane Sandy showed America that our Federal, state, and local governments can be overwhelmed by a natural disaster and a major attack all too quickly. People in New York and New Jersey are still without power. Homes were looted over the Thanksgiving weekend, Senator. Where was law enforcement?
I read on your website something about wanting to put a stop to an unnecessary “massacre” due to assault weapons. Why is it that you and your feminist friends have allowed the massacre of over 50 million of our unborn to die by the suction tube, scalpel, or saline solution (which by the way literally burns an unborn child to death in the womb)? Why is that an acceptable form of murder, Senator? When are you going to stop that massacre? If women have a right to choose to kill their unborn children, then I have a God-given right to protect my family, my fellow citizens, and my country with my legally-owned and licensed firearms, Senator.
This hypocrisy from you and your fellow politicians is disgusting. Start spending more of your time solving some of the critical problems that are staring us in the face right now and quit meddling in our personal lives. If you don’t have enough to keep you busy, then maybe all you politicos should start working more than 145 days a year for the salary that you get.  Think about it hard, Senator; because unlike the President, you will face re-election again (and so will your party.)
Merry Christmas!

After Armageddon - A SHTF scenario.

NYPD officer photographed giving boots to barefoot homeless man

I'm posting this because I want people to know exactly where I stand and if you call yourself a US Patriot and associate with me, you will have a similar position.  The men and women who serve in our military and police forces have not changed since 911. Remember that? When people were saying, "God bless and protect our heroes."? Now I'm hearing stupid stuff like, "Lets shoot all the pigs cause they support the politicians." Folks, the politicians and voters may be stupid but put the blame where it belongs, the police didn't do it and the military didn't do it. The Progressives, Communist, Islamist, Unionist and a whole bunch of other anti-Americans did it. The police and military may take orders from them but if push comes to shove in this country like so many of us believe it will, you will wish you had some trained police or military to back you up and they will if you're not throwing rocks at them or trying to shoot them. So if you want to take issue with where I stand, now would be a good time to stop following my blog, go hang out with your anarchist buddies.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/nypd-boots-homeless-man-photo-145219581.htmlA photo of a New York City police officer kneeling down to give a barefoot homeless man in Times Square a pair of boots on a cold November night is melting even the iciest New Yorkers' hearts online.
On Nov. 14, NYPD officer Lawrence DePrimo, who was on counterterrorism duty in Times Square, saw the older homeless man without shoes sitting on 42nd Street. DePrimo, 25, left and then returned with a pair of $100 boots he bought at a nearby Skechers store.
"It was freezing out, and you could see the blisters on the man's feet," DePrimo, a three-year veteran of the department who lives with his parents on Long Island, told the New York Times. "I had two pairs of socks, and I was still cold."
The random act of kindness was captured by Jennifer Foster, a tourist from Florence, Ariz., who was visiting the city. Foster, communications director for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office in Arizona, emailed the photo to the NYPD with a note commending DePrimo.
"The officer said, 'I have these size 12 boots for you, they are all-weather. Let's put them on and take care of you,'" Foster wrote. "The officer squatted down on the ground and proceeded to put socks and the new boots on this man.
"I have been in law enforcement for 17 years," she continued. "I was never so impressed in my life. ... It is important, I think, for all of us to remember the real reason we are in this line of work. The reminder this officer gave to our profession in his presentation of human kindness has not been lost."
Foster's photo was posted on the NYPD's Facebook page on Tuesday, where it received more than 320,000 "likes," 77,000 "shares" and 20,000 comments—most of them praising DePrimo, who seems to have restored Facebook's faith in humanity.
"This is one hell of a police officer," Desiree Wright-Borden wrote.
"Wow," Jack Horton wrote. "It's nice to know there are still good people out there."
"Angels truly do walk on earth!!!" Charlene Hoffman-Pestell wrote.
Some commenters, though, were skeptical, saying the photo could have been staged.
"Clever stunt!" Louis Zehmke wrote. "The hobo is 'parked' at the entrance of a shoe shop."
But Foster claims DePrimo had no idea he was being photographed: "The officer expected NOTHING in return and did not know I was watching."

DEPUTY SHERIFF PROTECTS 1ST AMENDMENT AT ALBANY AIRPORT

This is what law enforcement is intended to do, protect your rights and safety. This is commendable on this officer's part. He actually upheld a private citizens constitution rights when a powerful public authority demanded this man's ID, stop doing what he had a right to do and leave an area he had a right to be in.

James Inhofe: Benghazi Will 'Go Down As The Biggest Coverup In History'

http://video.foxnews.com/v/1994059607001/

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) on Wednesday made a strong claim about the Obama administration's handling of the Sept. 11 anniversary terrorist attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya, declaring that it was a conspiracy of historic proportions.

"This is gonna go down as the biggest coverup in history," Inhofe predicted during an appearance on Fox News. "The administration deliberately covered this up and misrepresented what happened in Benghazi."

He later stood by his claim when pressed by Fox News' Bill Hemmer.http://specialoperationsspeaks.com/articles/james-inhofe-benghazi-will-go-down-as-the-biggest-coverup-in-history-video

Israeli Special Forces Instinctive Shooting Combat Grip

From DOUBLETAPPER
The PTK - Ergonomic Pointing Grip is far superior to competitors products (Angle Fore Grip, etc.) in it's design.  It even comes with a handy storage compartment.

The PTK conceptualizes within its design a unique Special Forces combat proven instinctive shooting method incorporating natural pointing positioning which enhances accuracy and tactical performance.

The VTS - Versatile Tactical Support is a great companion but can be utilized in many other ways.  I tried it as an index (trigger) finger support for my weak hand and was really impressed at how much more natural it felt.

The new VTS provides versatile solutions for various forward grip positioning enhancing comfort and increasing accuracy. This ergonomic support may be set to accommodate a wide variety of tactical locations for ideal operational superiority taking in mind ideal compact configuration.

It's a very different grip then the tactical grips I've used in the past.  Watch this video and see how it works in action.http://doubletapper.blogspot.com/2012/11/special-forces-combat-proven.html

Interview with an “Intelligence Insider”

This interview published today confirms what I said when Benghazi happened. Everything the WH and DOS have said is a BS smokescreen. We are fighting a proxy war with Russia and Iran.

DH: I know you’ve gone over this before, but let’s get into the specifics of the operation at Benghazi.
II:"http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/archives/7187 Good, I want to be clear. After Gaddafi was taken out, there was the matter of his weapons and arms that were hidden all over Libya, including chemical weapons – gas weapons. According to Obama and Hillary Clinton, we were in Libya to collect and destroy these weapons to make for a ‘safer’ Libya. That’s what they were telling the American public. That’s not really what was going on, though, and it seems like all of the other nations except the average American knew it. Anyway, you can find pictures and videos of weapons caches being destroyed, but that is strictly for the public’s consumption.
What was really happening, before Gaddafi’s body was even cold, is that we had people locating caches of weapons, separating the working from those that weren’t, and making a big show of destroying the weapons, but only the weapons that were useless. The working weapons were being given to Islamic terrorists. They were being funneled through Libya, crisscrossing Libya on a Muslim Brotherhood managed strategic supply route. In fact, Michael Reagan called it the modern day equivalent of the Ho Chi Minh Trail in a recent article he wrote, and he is correct.
The entire arms and weapons running operation was headquartered in Benghazi, The weapons were actually being shipped out of Libya from the port city of Dernah, located about a hundred miles east of Benghazi. That was the ‘choke point’ of the weapons being shipped out. Remember the Lusitania? Think in those terms, ships carrying weapons hid among ‘humanitarian aid.’ By the time of the attacks, an estimated 30-40 million pounds of arms were already transported out of Libya.
From there, the weapons were being sent to staging areas in Turkey near the Syrian border, for use by the Free Syrian Army and other ragtag terrorist groups to fight against Assad. The objective was and still is to destabilize the Assad government.
DH: Why Syria, why not Iran?
II:  It’s both, but Syria is the primary target here for this operation. First, look at the bigger picture, look at the so-called “Arab Spring.” Who benefits and by default, who doesn’t? Who is the architect for what’s going on throughout the Middle East and North Africa? Whose agenda is being implemented? To specifically address Benghazi, though, look at the bigger picture here and what is trying to be accomplished.
The Obama administration is playing the role of Saudi Arabia’s private army. I think if Americans knew this, they would be outraged. Our service men and women are being sold out as mercenaries for the wants and desires of the Royal family, for the Saudi’s interests. It’s about religious dominance and oil. Who is really benefitting from, say, what’s going on in Egypt? Mubarek is out, and the Muslim Brotherhood is in. Who does that benefit? Saudi Arabia.
Look at what we see happening in Egypt. Destabilization. Do you think the Russians want that? Hell no. Syria is Russia’s red line in the sand, as you earlier wrote. If Syria is lost to the Muslim Brotherhood by the actions of Obama, Hillary Clinton and others in this administration, what happens? Well, it will have an adverse impact on Russia from a military standpoint. They will likely lose access to their Mediterranean deep water port in Syria, which is Tartus.
But think further – three dimensionally. Russia is still the world’s largest oil producer, and that’s Russia’s primary source of income. Then there’s Turkey, adjacent to Syria. A large amount of Russian oil and gas, consumed by the West, flows through Turkey, which is also a player in this operation.
So, the destabilization of Syria which is exactly what Obama and Clinton are trying to do, presents a direct military and economic threat to Russia. Assad at least has kept things in check in Syria. Can you imagine Assad being replaced by someone like Morsi? That would strike at the very heart of Russia’s economic health and military capabilities. Think of what’s at stake here. Do Americans want a regional war? World War III? Has Obama or Clinton asked the American people if this is what they want?
Make no mistake, we are doing the bidding for Saudi Arabia. The U.S., NATO and other allies are engaged in a proxy war with Iran and Russia."

Introduction to Combat Tracking

img001-1000http://www.michaelyon-online.com/wolf-pack-101-introduction-to-combat-tracking.htm
NCOs and officers who have developed infantry skills over an apprenticeship of years, particularly in infantry combat, similarly testify to the value of combat tracking: the first time that they see it, they are sold and they want it for their men.  When combat veterans see trackers at work, their infantry imaginations spawn ideas that can increase unit lethality.

Sometimes it Helps to Ask an Older Person

photo1-1000http://www.michaelyon-online.com/mysterious-blood-trails-at-my-home.htm

About a month ago, I came home and found mysterious blood trails around my home. I mapped them out, studied them, and kept trying to recreate the scene.  The scene confounded me.  I did not assume that it was blood.  There was no physical evidence of painting or use of chemicals.  After a long look, blood was the only thing that made sense.  Whatever it was, a human or humans put it there.  A child did not do it. Some finger marks were far too high for my 4-year-old neighbor who runs out to greet me, and she is the only child who is ever here.
Shoe marks were too large for the girl. A palm mark on the ground was man-sized.  I checked that she was okay, and her father helped me search.  It was clear that someone had sat in the blood to rest, just feet from my door. In context, none of this made a lick of sense.
There was no sign of blood near the doors or the windows, but there were some tiny splatters on the second floor, as if a giraffe had done it, or someone had swung a blade. If there was a machete fight, my neighbors would have seen it, and there should be some flesh or clothes lying around.  It was confusing.
The neighbors said that they saw nothing, and they were equally confounded. I cast about for hours trying to pick up the trail in the general area.  You cannot just turn off blood like that. I could sense that whomever did it lingered, which made no sense.  Then they apparently vanished in a vehicle, which also made no sense.  Nobody could come in without being seen.  Over and over I walked the tracks and I just could not figure it out.
I thought that maybe someone working on the banana trees hurt themselves, but this was a lot of blood for one person to spill, and the patterns did not make sense. Why would they bleed so heavily and hang around without telling anyone? Was it a criminal? The mystery remained.

The Latest Weapon in the War on Cancer: Honey Bees

By Dr. Mercola
Propolis, the “caulk” honeybees use to patch holes in their hives, has been used as a natural remedy since ancient times, treating ills ranging from sore throats and burns to allergies.
New research has revealed another exciting use for this seemingly miraculous substance.
One of the many reasons I keep bees on the farm.

http://share.banoosh.com/2012/11/25/the-latest-weapon-in-the-war-on-cancer-honey-bees/#!prettyPhoto-22098/0/Propolis Slows Tumor Growth

Propolis has a number of well-known therapeutic properties, including potent antioxidant and anti-microbial action, and healing, analgesic, anesthetic, and anti-inflammatory properties. In the hive, bees use it as a disinfectant against bacteria and viruses, helping to seal cracks and “embalm” invaders that are too large to carry out.
It’s been used for thousands of years in folk medicine, but despite its plethora of active components, research on this compound, and therefore its modern medical uses, is limited.
Researchers from the University of Chicago Medical Center, intrigued by propolis’ anti-cancer potential, decided to look at one of its bioactive components, caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE), and its impact on human prostate cancer cells.
In cells grown in a lab, even small doses of CAPE slowed the growth of tumor cells. And when low oral doses were given to mice with prostate tumors, tumor growth slowed by 50 percent! What’s more, feeding CAPE to mice daily caused the tumors to stop growing, although they returned when the CAPE was removed from their diets.
This suggests the propolis compound works by impacting signaling networks that control cancerous cell growth, rather than by killing the cells directly. However, there are at least four studies on propolis’ apoptotic properties, indicating that technically it is capable of directly killing cancer cells, including prostate cancer, melanoma and more, as well.1
This is not the first time propolis has shown promise in treating cancer. In 2009, propolis was found to suppress the growth of neurofibromatosis-associated tumors (tumors on nerve tissue) by blocking PAK1 signaling.
