Dabiq: What Islamic State’s New Magazine Tells Us about Their Strategic Direction, Recruitment Patterns and Guerrilla Doctrine

On the first day of Ramadan (June 28), the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) declared itself the new Islamic State and the new Caliphate (Khilafah). For the occasion, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, calling himself Caliph Ibrahim, broke with his customary secrecy to give a surprise khutbah (sermon) in Mosul before being rushed back into hiding. Al-Baghdadi’s khutbah addressed what to expect from the Islamic State. The publication of the first issue of the Islamic State’s official magazine, Dabiq, went into further detail about the Islamic State’s strategic direction, recruitment methods, political-military strategy, tribal alliances and why Saudi Arabia’s concerns that the Kingdom may be the Islamic State’s next target are well-founded.
Published in several European languages, including English, the magazine has a number of purposes. The first is to call on Muslims to come help the new caliph. Next, the magazine, comprising 50 vivid pages of color pictures, illustrations and artfully crafted text, tells the story of the Islamic State’s success in gaining the support of Syrian tribes, reports on the success of its recent military operations and graphically portrays the atrocities committed by its enemies, as well as vivid pictures of its own violence against Shi’ites. The premier issue also used classic Islamic texts to explain and justify the nature of the caliphate, its intentions, legitimacy and political and religious authority over all Muslims. Throughout its carefully constructed allusions, the magazine subtly appeals to the followers of other jihadist groups including the followers of the Islamic State’s foremost jihadist critics and potential followers in the Arabian Peninsula

Intel in Bad Times is the Key to Survival

I spend way too much time perusing different blogs, looking for people whose values, beliefs and principles match my own. There are many who call themselves patriots and liberty-minded people
( within the US founders mindset ) but after reading them for awhile you learn they are nothing more
than anarchist who want to see the US in shambles. I suppose their thinking is, this is necessary so
America can be rebuilt from the ground up. I don't go further in knowing them and their motives
because I fundamentally disagree with them. We already have the perfect framework for governing
the US, its called the Bill of Rights and US Constitution. I don't care to support people who want to
re-invent the wheel. There is no telling what that wheel will look like if some of our American
anarchist were to take the helm and I have never cared much for choosing the lesser of two evils, evil is evil. This was the final message of the Atlas Shrugged III, destroy it so we can rebuild it. I think most will agree that a restoration of the US is preferable to a revolution and those who actively want a complete collapse of American society are as much enemies of liberty as are Socialist and Islamist.
One of the bloggers I follow closely is Sam Culper because he is very discerning and insightful. With
his firm grounding in military intelligence, he should be. He also writes some very useful articles on
dealing with a possible (likely) social collapse. Here is a quote from a recent one;
"We earn the populace by “attaining legitimacy” and not by behavior modification through fear, intimidation and coercion.  Fearful populations are resentful populations.  Resentful populations might not openly oppose you, but they’re willing to cooperate with a viable alternative.  Therefore, we must seek to be a viable alternative when faced with oppression.  In my mind, that’s the largest component the Liberty movement is missing — a viable alternative.  We have plenty of alternatives but most realize that those alternatives are just the lesser of two evils.  Don’t become the lesser of two evils; don’t kill the Constitution in the process of saving it.  As a friend of mine said to me last weekend, “You don’t get morality from immorality.  You don’t get good government from bad government.”
He also posts as GuerillaAmerica here , follow his work here and his intel magazine can be read here.

H.G. Wells interview with Stalin

I just finished reading an interview of Joseph Stalin by author H.G. Wells from 1934. Apparently they both thought President Roosevelt's New Deal was the beginning of Socialism and Collectivism in America and both encouraged it. Folks I hate to tell you this but you have been asleep your entire lives and have become good little Communist, you just haven't realized it yet and most probably never will. To understand just how ingrained Socialism is in America you have to understand its source. Here is a good place to start. http://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2014/09/05/h-g-wells-and-joseph-stalin-advance-socialism-destroying-the-world-in-the-name-of-collectivism/

Islamic State murderers whimpering and crying

Cool new photos that show the Iraq Army is kicking ISIS's ass on the ground.

And here is a link to a video of some they captured recently that
shows the kind of cowards ISIS members are. They are more than
stupid cowards, they are the most vile of evil persons. Just ask Foley
and Sotloff.
