Dear Friends, if you have other friends or family members who can read a sentence longer than ten words without getting cross-eyed or a headache and they really do wish to learn more about how government works in the modern day, I offer that you could share with them the works of this gentleman, Frederic Bastiat. He lived and wrote around the time of the French Revolution and made exhaustive studies of all known forms of human government and societies. His words are as true today as they were then. In particular I recommend the papers titled "The Law" and " What is seen and what is not seen."
